BURK'S FALLS BUCK'N RODEO IS PLEASED TO HAVE WITH US THIS YEAR CAMP BUCKO.   HELP US HELP THEM.

This is a great opportunity for everyone to help make a difference in a childs life.

Camp BUCKO is a registered charity for pediatric burn survivors between the ages of 7 and 17.  There is no charge for these children to participate in the Camp BUCKO program and our purpose is for these children to have a place where they can be themselves without feeling different or alone.  We encourage campers to participate in a variety of social, recreational and therapeutic activities that promote self-esteem, the development of leadership skills and personal growth.
The recovery from a burn injury is both emotionally and physically painful and our goal is to continue to support our young burn survivors.  We are constantly looking for ways to enhance and improve our camper's experiences at BUCKO, so after ten great years at the Kinark Outdoor Centre, we have decided to move to a new facility.
Camp BUCKO 2013 will be held at Camp Kodiak (near Parry Sound) and we are looking forward to their numerous activities: horseback riding, tennis, water skiing, mini golf, sailing, fishing, zip lining, rock climbing, boarding, water slides - just to name a few.
While we are changing facilities, we are not changing the BUCKO experience.  We will still have all the same smiling faces, friends, volunteers and campers that are unique to Camp BUCKO.
We are thrilled to offer the Camp BUCKO experience to the burn community and if you would like any additional information, please visit us at wwww.campbucko.ca or contact us at 1-877-272-8256
